For day 3 of ground work, Dusty goes through his pre ride checkless with Pinky Pie. His first point on the list is to use a secondary rope attached to the filly's back cinch to see if she is inclined to buck in order to work through any issues prior to the first ride. His second point is to move the horse forward with her head tied slightly tipped to the inside to teach her to follow her nose. Lastly Dusty puts body weight in the stirrups for the first time to prepare the Pinky Pie for her first ride.
